Ring sizes in France: the essentials

In France and Europe, ring size corresponds to the inside circumference of the finger in millimeters.

Example: a size 52 corresponds to a circumference of about 52 mm (diameter ≈ 16.55 mm).

The most common sizes:

• Women: 52 or 54
• Men: 60 or 62
• For a wide band (≥ 4–5 mm), we recommend going +1 size.

• Prepare a 1 cm-wide strip of paper, a piece of string, or a flexible tape.
• Gently wrap it around the base of your finger.

• Measure in millimeters: this value is your circumference.

Tip: if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, take both measurements into account and choose an in-between size for perfect comfort.

• Measure its inside diameter in millimeters.

• Measure your finger at the end of the day, when fingers are naturally more relaxed.
• Avoid measuring your fingers when they are too hot or too cold.
